These Terms govern your use of LenderBureau as a borrower or general user. By creating an account or submitting content, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using LenderBureau (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“User,” “you”) agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
LenderBureau is a user-generated review platform that publishes opinions from verified borrowers. We are not a financial advisor, lender, broker, or credit counselor. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, legal, investment, or lending advice. You should independently verify all information and consult qualified professionals before making any financial decision. LenderBureau makes no representation as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any lender listing or review.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use this Platform. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
All reviews must reflect your genuine, first-hand borrower experience. You expressly agree that you will not:
Violations may result in immediate account termination, content removal, and civil or criminal referral. Submitting fraudulent documents may constitute fraud under applicable state and federal law.
To publish a review, you must upload a qualifying document (loan statement, closing disclosure, approval letter, or account summary). You are encouraged to redact sensitive information (SSNs, bank account numbers) before uploading. Documents are stored securely, never displayed publicly, and accessed only for verification. You represent that you have the legal right to submit any document you upload and that doing so does not violate any confidentiality agreement or court order.
All content you submit must be truthful and based on actual experience. You agree not to submit content that:
LenderBureau reserves the right to remove any content that in our sole discretion violates these standards.
By submitting content, you grant LenderBureau a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display such content in any medium for purposes related to operating or promoting the Platform. You retain ownership of your content. Deleting your account does not require us to remove published reviews, which may be retained for historical accuracy and platform integrity.
LenderBureau is an interactive computer service under 47 U.S.C. § 230. We are not the publisher or speaker of user-generated content and bear no liability for content posted by users. We do not pre-screen all content and make no representations about its accuracy.
All Platform content, design, trademarks, and software are owned by or licensed to LenderBureau. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent. Unauthorized scraping or automated data collection is strictly prohibited.
We collect your email address, display name, and submitted proof documents. Proof documents are stored securely and accessed only for verification. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Your display name and published reviews are publicly visible. For GDPR or CCPA requests (access, deletion, correction), contact info@lenderbureau.net.
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the platform is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LenderBureau and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or reputational harm, arising out of or related to your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) amounts paid by you to LenderBureau in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LenderBureau and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your submitted content; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any third-party rights; or (e) any fraud, misrepresentation, or illegal act by you.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property matters. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action. Arbitration shall take place in LenderBureau's principal state of business, or via video conference at your election.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where preempted by federal law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Termination does not affect the license granted in Section 7 or our right to retain records as required by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LenderBureau regarding the Platform.
